Nomageddon Interactive ("we", "us", or "our") built Sudokill Me Softly as a free app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.
Sudokill Me Softly collects minimal data to support the Daily Haunting leaderboard feature. When you sign in through Google Play Games, we collect and store the following information in our database:
Your Google Play Games display name (gamer tag), your puzzle completion times, your game scores and mistake counts, and a unique user identifier provided by Firebase Authentication. This information is used solely to display leaderboard rankings to all players.
The data we collect is used exclusively to power the daily challenge leaderboard, allowing players to compare their puzzle completion times. We do not use your personal data for profiling or any purpose beyond the leaderboard functionality and serving ads as described below.
Our app uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing the use of information:
Google Play Games Services is used for sign-in and retrieving your gamer tag. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database (provided by Google) are used to authenticate users and store leaderboard data. Firebase's privacy information is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Google AdMob is used to serve rewarded video advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data to serve and measure ads. You can review Google's advertising privacy policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings.
Sudokill Me Softly displays optional rewarded video advertisements. These ads are entirely voluntary — you choose to watch them in exchange for in-game rewards such as extra lives, bonus currency, or daily bonuses. No ads are shown without your explicit action. We use Google AdMob to serve these ads. AdMob and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. Your gamer tag and leaderboard scores are visible to other players of the app through the Death Roll (leaderboard). We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. Apart from the leaderboard display and the third-party services listed above, your data is not shared with anyone.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. Access to leaderboard data in Firebase is restricted through authentication-based security rules, ensuring only signed-in users can read or write scores. While no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.
Leaderboard data (gamer tag, scores, and completion times) is retained for as long as the daily challenge leaderboard feature is active. Historical leaderboard entries may be retained indefinitely to preserve the competitive record. You may delete your data at any time using the in-app deletion feature described below.
The app stores game preferences, saved puzzle progress, and cached settings locally on your device using standard Android storage. This data is not transmitted to any server and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app requires a Google Play Games account for leaderboard functionality, which itself requires a Google account.
You can delete all of your data directly within the app. Navigate to Unholy Settings and tap "Erase All Evidence." This will immediately delete your local game statistics, all of your leaderboard entries from our servers, and your Firebase Authentication account. No email or request to us is required — deletion is instant and self-service.
Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data from your device. If you have any issues with data deletion, you can contact us at nomageddoninteractive@gmail.com.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
